We took an excel class in sixth grade and I had no idea it'd be such a big part of my adult life.

It's pouring rain today. On the bright side, I'm sitting by the window at a local coffee place I like and the crowd's died down a bit. It was bonkers when I got here. I walked in kind of expecting it to be empty. Nope. Lucky me, though, a table in the corner was open. I'd been reluctant at first — it's by the window, but it's also by the exit and I'm not a huge fan of being in the traffic lane. That always seems to happen to me at concerts... it's like, no matter where I stand, it ends up being the spot people walk through.

Again, it's raining today; so I was fairly confident people wouldn't be hustling and bustling through the door near me. And I was right. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't have even realized if they had. Since my arrival (and for a decent chunk of time prior), I've basically been wearing my laptop on my face like VR goggles. Maybe then I'd be able to get this data set to play nice. I'll spare you the details, but basically VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and FILTER have failed me thus far, and I actually blame HubSpot. As I'm sitting there with rain splattering the glass by my head, I'm actually shocked that you can't bulk edit "tags" for posts. I'm working on an exciting next evolution for theunobstructed.com and it requires tagging posts a certain way so I can filter them and link to groups of them later. However, while working on that, I've come to accept that I have two options:

1. Manually go back and re-tag every post I've ever written.

2. Export my entire site into a CSV file, add the tags, and then import the file as a new "blog," essentially.

What's frustrating is that I've already aggregated a spreadsheet with all of my posts. I keep a backup master file, but then also use it to create copies for things like this. And yet, I'm trying to reconcile a sheet with the old tags and one with the new tags, without wiping out all existing tags when not necessary.

I'll figure this out.

I'm sure of it.
