When It Clicks

Today, for the first time in about six years, I turned on my DSLR camera. I found one of the last photos I’d taken before kind of casting my photography aside after my traumatic brain injury.

I don’t really know what made me reach for it. The battery was dead. I had to buy a new charger and everything. But when my camera clicked on and sprang back to life, I felt a bit like… maybe I’m ready to come out of hibernation, too?
