Formatting is how we know what we're looking at.
Our daily lives are full of formatting. Done right, this makes things easier to follow, and limits the mental energy of figuring them out.
Then, we assume the following text has to do with what we just read. And a divider cues us to follow as we move into a new section or topic.
What's one thing you can reformat to make your day smoother?
Put your phone in grayscale to make notifications less alluring? Place a notebook and pen on top of your laptop so you're forced to use them before starting your work day? Color-code your calendar using colors you like for the tasks you hate?
